The Florida real estate industry continues to experience dramatic changes in the marketplace and in the regulatory realm. This course will discuss the recent changes in the laws as well as refresh your memory on some old standards that rarely change. It examines recent statutory and rule changes that affect not just the license law but real estate law in general. In addition, the course discusses how to maintain your license and generally operate within the law on a daily basis.

Boland, Caroline

Caroline Boland began her real estate career in Florida in 2010. Originally from Northwest Indiana, Caroline earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University and held executive positions in the Reinsurance business before relocating with her family to Southwest Florida. Vacation paradise soon became home, and Caroline embarked on a real estate career culminating in owning her own independent, boutique brokerage before joining a prestigious, international real estate brokerage as a Managing Broker. An accomplished public speaker and educator, Caroline also holds a Florida Real Estate Instructor license and is currently Director of Instructor Training and Development with a leading educational provider offering real estate, mortgage, and insurance licensing courses.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

1. CE credit will not be awarded if arrival and check-in are notcomplete by 1:15 p.m. No exceptions.  Please allow adequate commute time.

2. Check in with RPCRA staff and sign attendance sheet uponarrival and departure.

3. FREC requires a licensee attend 90% of each of the classroomhours.  Physical attendance is required for the duration of class

4.  Notetaking is permitted on silent devices only. Cell phone use is permitted during designated breaks.

 

CANCELLATION/NO-SHOWS

A No-Show fee of $50 will be charged to attendees who haveregistered for a complimentary class and have failed to cancel or reschedulethe registration by 5:00 pm the day prior to the class. In addition to theNo-Show fee, cancellations not received within this timeframe will result inthe forfeiture of the registration fee. If a course is postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled, registrantsmay choose to receive a full refund or apply the credit toward another coursewithin the same calendar year.
